New Hampshire Business Featured in Two National Magazines
Just Be Products LLC Named an Inspired Innovation by Inc. and Fast Company Magazines

Webster, NH – A brand new New Hampshire business has been recognized by two national magazines as an “Inspired Innovation.”

Inc. and Fast Company, both national magazines, awarded $5,000 to Just Be Products LLC, a local apparel company owned by Michelle Pratt-Lienhart, to help develop their innovative line of t-shirts. The company is featured in a full-page editorial in the current issues of both magazines. The editorial is also on the companies’ websites at www.inc.com/greatidea and www.fastcompany.com/greatidea.

Just Be, according to Pratt-Lienhart, is a state of mind, way of life, and a philosophy. Just Be is an online community for people to share how to Just Be. Websites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are used, along with a customized website, blog and online store at www.jb-justbe.com. People will be able to share and show how they Just Be by uploading photos and videos to the blog and the other social networking sites.

And, to spread the word, Just Be has developed a new line of graphic tees not meant to inspire…but to Just Be. By wearing the tees, people express how they feel or how they would like to feel. Each Just Be item has its own Just Be saying—be beautiful, be organic, be flirty, be sweet, be cool, be green, be punk, be a sk8r, be natural, etc.

The winnings from the magazines were invested in a direct-to-garment t-shirt printer. “Having the printer in-house allows me to quickly fulfill Internet orders,” Pratt-Lienhart said. “I can also control the quality of all the products that are produced.” She has plans to expand the product line beyond t-shirts to also include other apparel and accessories.

Just Be was selected to participate in “Back to School Celebrity Kids Gift Bags”, which included some of the most hip, useful and fun back to school items. These gift bags went to some of the hottest celebrities’ kids, such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Faith Hill, Will Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, Mark Wahlberg, Gweneth Paltrow, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, and David and Victoria Beckham.

In response to receiving the gift bag, Just Be received a personal thank you note from Coco Arquette, daughter of Courtney Cox and David Arquette.

A duplicate gift bag was also auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting the Plasticos Foundation, an organization dedicated to correcting birth defects, congenital malformations and traumatic disfigurements to those who are unable to afford it.

Just Be was asked to create customized tees for the New Hampshire Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Annual Thank-You Cruise on the M/S Mount Washington on New Hampshire’s Lake Winnipesaukee. Two custom Just Be tees were designed specifically for the event—Be Wishful and Be Giving.

Just Be Products LLC has a team participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Concord, NH in October. You can help support their efforts by buying a Just Be Pink shirt at http://www.jb-justbe.com/pink. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the shirts will be donated to fund breast cancer research.

It’s a good time to…JUST BE.
