Two National Magazines Name Just Be Products, LLC an Inspired Innovation NH
Apparel Business Receives Recognition from Inc. and Fast Company Magazines

Webster, NH – A brand new New Hampshire business has been recognized by two national magazines as an “Inspired Innovation.”

Inc. and Fast Company, both national magazines, awarded $5,000 to Just Be Products LLC, a local apparel company owned by Michelle Pratt-Lienhart, to help develop their innovative line of t-shirts. The company will also get a full-page editorial in both magazines in the October issue and on their websites in September.

Pratt-Lienhart entered the idea for the business in May on Inc.com and was notified in June that her entry was one of the top 10 finalists. It was then up to the general public to vote on and decide the winner. “When I was told that my idea won, I was in shock,” Pratt-Lienhart said. “I was thrilled just to be a finalist…never mind the winner!” She has plans to expand the product line beyond t-shirts to also include other apparel and accessories.

The idea behind Just Be is that it is a state of mind, way of life, and a philosophy. Just Be is a new line of graphic tees not meant to inspire…but to Just Be. The tees allow people to express how they feel or how they would like to feel. Just Be is built around an online community for people to share how to Just Be. Websites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are used, along with a customized website and blog at www.jb-justbe.com. People share and show how to Just Be by uploading photos and videos to the blog and the other social networking sites.

Each Just Be item has its own Just Be saying—be fabulous, be crazy, be flirty, be sweet, be cool, be groovy, be punk, be spoiled, be unique, etc. The sayings are paired with large illustrations inspired by a vintage poster designs or styles from the 1920s to the 1980s—art deco, pop art, punk, Russian poster art, Constructivist, etc.

Just Be offers partnership opportunities with organizations such as The Red Cross (Be a Donor), corporations (Be Muddy—Yamaha), colleges and universities (Be an Eagle—Boston College), too.

Just Be Products LLC has a team participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Concord, NH in October. You can help support their efforts by buying a Just Be Pink shirt at www.jb-justbe.com. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the shirts will be donated to fund breast cancer research.

It’s a good time to…JUST BE.
